F.A.Q.

It appears that my page hasn't been updated

This sometimes occurs due to what is known as hard disk caching - when you visit a website, your browser saves a copy of the page to your hard disk.  The next time you visit the page, the browser displays this version instead of the one from the server - this appears to speed up the time web pages take to load.

If you are experiencing this problem, you can force your browser to retrieve the latest version of the page directly from the web server by doing a "hard refresh".

  • In Internet Explorer: <CTRL> <F5>

  • In Firefox:  <CTRL> <R>

  • In Opera:  <F5>

  • In Safari:
    •   for version 4 and newer: Hold down the Shift key and click the Reload toolbar button.
    •   for version 3 and older:  either: Hold down the Command key, and press R  or: Click the Reload toolbar button.
